Design services were provided for the 17 acre, 170,000 s.f. Veterans Home. The facility was developed incorporating “Green House” design principles into the architecture. Along with the “Neighborhood” design, each courtyard provided unique opportunities for the residents and individualistic plant material selection for each garden.

The design included raised and accessible planting areas, an amphitheater/chapel for services, covered gathering areas and opportunities for residents and families to gather in, or stroll through the gardens. A memorial sculpture honors the veterans of the past wars.
