Meeting the requirements for Gold LEED Certification, the site design incorporated an abandoned borrow pit for the proposed 70, 000 s.f. Facility. Utilizing the excavated area for the building placement, the natural grade was reestablished and brought over the structure as an intensive green roof pro- viding both natural security and reestablishment of natural succession to the site.

Green technologies were incorporated into the design including the reuse of cooling tower bleed water as the water supply for the irrigation system.
